Cochin University of Science and technology is one of the best undergraduate engineering colleges which provides many courses out of which naval architecture and shipbuilding is one of its kind course which is offered by only some of the universities in India and it is very much demand in India because seats of naval architecture and shipbuilding fills up very quickly.

Naval architecture in CUSAT is very good. Infact it is one of the most sought branches in CUSAT. If you get a very good rank in CUSAT common admission test then only you will get admission in naval architecture. Also, the seats get filled up pretty quickly.It is one of the most demanded branches of CUSAT.
Talking about placements, the placements are excellent and the department is known all over the world for its undergraduates.
In the recent time, I've heard that placements were little dull, but it happened in all institutions due to the oil crisis.
