COEP is among the best institutes for planning engineering in India. Perhaps it is not so impressive in terms of treatments and exposure you will get from COEP is just fairly decent.
Here are some of the insights of the college.
    Intake:- 60 (planning)
    Placements Scenarios:-
    Average package:- 6 lakhs
    Highest package:- 33 lakhs
Although only 20% students got placed which is very minuscule, hence planning engineering is not recommended for COE Pune.
Top Recruiters:- L&t, Tata Construction, Polaris, Essar, DLF, Mayfair, Zs Associates, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Box8, Larsen And Toubro Infotech, IDBI, Axis Bank, ICICI.
    The college needs dedicated orchest

College of Engineering, Pune is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra after IITs and NITs. According to MHRD rankings, it stands at an impressive 24th position. From what I learned while pursuing B.Tech from NIT, Trichy, is that COEP is known even to the people in Tamil Nadu which means it is known all over India.
For B.Tech in planning, last time (2016-17) out of 41 students who applied to placements from planning department 6 students were placed meaning 14.63 percent placement for planning which isn't really good. The course is a pretty new and not many company recruits for it.
The lowest package offered was around Rs 3 lakhs per an

Latest record of the academic year 2016-17 says that only 20% of the total UG students. This shows at least some improvement from last year's placements.
To be very frank, I have read the placement statistics from the COEP official website, link for which I will share at the end of this answer. I have tried my best while reading and interpreting that graph, b
