DTU is a reputed university. I can't give 100% assurance about placement because placement depends on your talent and knowledge. If you will be able to study in proper way, then you will be placed.

According to the National Institute Ranking Framework, Delhi Technological University was ranked 39th in India and around 3rd in Delhi. DTU is well known among recruiters and provides decent placements to its students. Last time total 26 offers were made for PSCT students. The exact placement stats aren't released by DTU publicly. The average package is around 6-7 LPA for PSCT. Companies like Google, yahoo, Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Future First, NTPC, Gail, EIL, TRAI and Schlumberger are regular recruiters at DTU.

Placement is quite average here. The average package lies in the range of 6-7 LPA CTC. Companies like Amazon, Zomato, Pepperfry, Cisco, Oracle, JP Morgan, Morgan stanley, Microsoft, Flipkart, Intuit, Makemytrip, Fractal Analytics, Reliance Industry, Tata Consultancy, etc. recruit the students. Core offers are hardly made, majorly consulting and marketing roles are rolled out. The highest package goes as high as 30 LPA. Some international firms also visit here every year. Internship through college is average. Students who have a good GPA are mostly selected for PPOs and also the internship. Infrastructure and Faculty are simply great and college is accredited globally. It is ranked 5th among 'Best Engineering Institutes of India' by India Today in 2016 and moreover, Ranked 39th among 'Top 100 Engineering Institutes in India' by National Institutional Ranking Framework (MHRD) in 2017. Thus, conclusion stands that it is one of Premium Institution for best scenario Placements and Internship opportunities. Hey there PSCT in DTU is a chemical branch that was introduced few years back. You will be getting this branch when your AIR of JEE Mains is more than 20000. Well talking about the syllabus of PSCT, the syllabus is very easy to study, since it mostly involves which most of the students mug up on the day before the exam. Don't get fooled by the name, there is hardly any core subject of Chemical Engineering taught. And if by chance it is, the level is that of a class 12th student. Well, talking about the placements, the companies which come, mostly ask technical and conceptual question in interview on the topics of Heat Transfer, Mass Transfer and Fluid Dynamics. Some private firms have issue with the name of the branch PSCT, that why is polymer there along with chemical, when they specifically want to recruit from Chemical Engineering. Percentage of the batch that placed every year from PSCT is about 65-75%. Some of the top placement companies that recruit PSCT students are- Pernord Ricard, Honeywell Automation, Michelin Tyres, Apollo Tyres, JK Tyres, Cairn India, PC Polyblends, Chambal Fertilisers, Avery Dennison. Well, getting place through PSCT is not that much hard, you just need to keep hardworking on all way up. I hope this helps you.
