How are the placements of B.Tech in Production Engineering from NIT, Tiruchirappalli?

NIT Trichy is surely known for its placements and is ranked first among all NITs for a reason. In 2016 the percentage of total students placed was 96.7 percent. For Production department it was 96.9 percent for in 2015 and 93.1 percent in 2016. Greetings from SHIKSHA. Production Engineering is very good Branch and it is the part of mechanical engineering. The placements at National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli of Production Engineering is really very good. The placement ratio is almost around 90% placement. The average package is around 5 to 7 lakhs per annum. Since this Branch Production Engineering is among evergreen field, the Placements of this Branch will increase with good amount of packages. Company like TATA Motors, Tech Mahindra, Reliance Industries and L&T are the bulk recruiters. Other than these companies, many companies like ITC, Zydus Wellness, Torrent Pharma, Sun pharma, Apollo, Ultratech Vedanta Group, Eicher, Maruti Suzuki Nexa, , etc. takes students from here. So thus it is really good to do Production Engineering from Reputed Institute or University if someone is in search of good Placement in Industrial field. The Campus of NIT, Tiruchirappalli is very good with good facilities. So thus the placement ratio of NIT Tiruchirappalli is almost 90% and in future it will be like this only.
