How are the placements of B.Tech in Safety and Fire Engineering from CUSAT?

If I had to sum up the placements of safety and fire engineering from CUSAT, I would say it is better than any other branch that the college offers. Let me start by giving you an idea of the pros and cons of placement at this college: Pros: 100% batch placement for fire and safety engineering branch. Starting salary of 8-10 lacs for the same branch. The placement and training cell is highly responsive and has managed to attract a lot of companies for its fire and safety department. Many numbers if PSU'S and other more private firms show up during placement season of the college. Also, you get many opportunities for internships too. Cons: It is relatively tough for one to get through off campus placements for the branch. The companies that recruit most students are PSU'S like Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum, Indian Oil and many other private firms. If you manage to not to get any backlogs, the college will take care of the placements for you. I hope this answers your question
