The colleges which offer B.Tech textile course are very few. The textile companies have been closing in Maharashtra especially Mumbai region. Hence there is a kind of recession in the field. The placements and packages are less in the recent past. But the prestige of being an alumnus of VJTI will surely pay off in the long run. You get an opportunity to grab internship in Raymond and all reputed companies in textile do come for campus interviews.
