For BE chemical engineering, anything more than 6 LPA would be nice. On an average, one can expect a package of around 4-5 LPA. But that too is not guaranteed as dedicated placement cell has not been established, Even though ICT is considered as one of the best institutes for academics where one can

Placement wise, this is the best department of ICT because in all chemical industries like pharma ,foods, polymers, etc., a chemical engineer is strongly required in one or the other departments like tech transfer, production, various unit operations used in the chemical industries like distillation
