BITS Pillani is the best Institute. It is equivalent to IITs . The placements at BITS Pilani of Computer Science Engineering is really very good. The placement ratio is almost 100% placement. Many multinational IT companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, etc. visit every year and take students from here. The average package is around 15 lakhs per annum. Since this Branch CSE is among evergreen field, the Placements of this Branch will increase with good amount of packages. Company like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Intel, Oracle, Qualcomm, WIPRO, ITC, Flipkart, Ola, Just dial, Facebook, Hindustan Unilever, P&G, etc. takes students from here. This all credit goes to Training and Placement Cell Department of BITS Pilani. So, thus it is really good to do Computer Science Engineering from a reputed institutes like BITS Pillani for better education and Placements. Birla Institute of Technology and Science is on the top of the list of top private engineering colleges and has a really low acceptance rate which is why the student quality at BITS-Pilani is extremely good which helps in stealing them the best packages in India. The average placement package for computer science branch as of the year 2017 was around 18 LPA for domestic and 27 LPA for international or overseas placements. The really high average placement figures are because of the fact that some students manage to steal packages worth 1 crore being domestic and 1.5 crores being international or overseas as in the year 2017 which happens to be the highest placement packages offered to the students of computer science batch of 2017. Hence, if you are in a state of a doubt for getting admission in computer science department of BITS-Pilani then you should grab a seat as soon as you can and be assured about the placements as you are among the best hands in India to provide you with excellent placements. Batch of 2018 The computer science department has received 100% placements (last 4 years) for BE (Hons) program. Major companies that visited for internships include Google, Microsoft, Directi, Nutanix, Samsung, etc. Some of the companies also offered pre-placement offers to the students interning there. Batch of 2017 Placements: Placements are 100% for the computer science branch. The highest package in India is 35 LPA and the lowest package for CS in India is 12 LPA. The average salary comes out to be around 22 LPA. This is very close to previous year's average too. Top shot companies like Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Directi, Adobe, Samsung, HP, Visa, etc., to the newest startups like Nutanix, Crowdfire, etc., were among the recruiters. The roles offered are mainly software development and very rarely testing roles are given. Apart from computer science, similar if not same, is the case with other branches though it is not so easy to get a job like in CSE. Many students practice competitive coding and try for IT jobs compromising on their passion sometimes. Around 70% of the students get internships every year. The salary is mostly around 35 thousand, though Nutanix this time offered 90 thousand per month. The lowest stipend was given by HP which was 25 thousand. The average comes out to be very close to Rs. 35000. Overall, the placement scenario is quite good if you are willing to work even a little bit for it. Getting placed is very easy. Batch of 2016 Placements: The placements are quite good in BITS ( I am talking about computer science stream only as I belong to it). In a course of the year, all big companies including Google, Visa, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Amazon, Walmart, VMware, etc., visit and hire a lot of people here. There are no shortages of startups as well, as we have seen inMobi, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Paytm, Nearbuy, Roadrunnr, Nutanix, Sprinklr, etc., also visit the campus.
