Hello, PSG College of Technology is one of the top colleges affiliated to Anna University. It has been ranked at 33 among the engineering colleges in India by NIRF rankings 2017. It has been showing its excellence right from its institution by producing many excellent talents. PSG is a good choice for pursuing automobile engineering as it has its own industry which makes it more special. The placements at PSG for automobile engineering are really good for which many reputed companies recruit PSG students. Many would opt for jobs while some others opt for doing masters in India as well as abroad and for that also PSG provides a good foundation. Around 85-90% students were placed last year where the annual intake is more than 100. Some of the top companies that visit the campus are : 1) Ford 2) Renault Nissan 3) Caterpillar 4) Volvo 5) MU Sigma 6) Mahindra 7) Maruti Suzuki 8) Ashok Leyland 9) John Deere 10) TAFE 11) Cognizant 12) General motors. Many go for paid internships in reputed companies who are sent by the college so that it will help them get placed easily and also with a work experience.

PSG college of technology, Coimbatore is considered as one of the best private engineering colleges of India and the college is proving it right.PSG college of technology is the best engineering college under Anna University.Every department is good. Automobile engineering department is equipped with latest fastrack labs with all high-tech equipment.You will have to learn all the things practically. Last year placement in core companies is 25. This year college faced a huge drop in core placement.Although many students placed in IT sector as well. Some of the core companies which visited the campus are as follows:- 1. Hyundai 2. Ford motors 3. NISSAN 4. General motors 5. Mahindra & Mahindra 6. TVS motors Many students opted for higher studies and many other went to defence and government sector. The average package is around Rs 3 lakhs per annum. Hope it helped.
