How are the placements of BE in Civil Engineering from M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology?

Hi there, MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology is among the best private colleges in India. It has secured a rank under 40 in the latest NIRF ranking.The placement stats of the college is very good for CSE/IT and ECE. However, placements for civil engineering are not that good as other branches. Here are some of the insights of the college. MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology in Bangalore is among the top 3 colleges in Bangalore and has a reputation for excellence in placements for branches like computer science, Information Technology and electronics and communication engineering. The college has second biggest infrastructure in terms of area covered by the campus in India. Although replacements for civil department is not as great as the computer science department placement, offering an average placement package of around 4 to 5 lacs and the highest placement package being offered for the batch of 2017 being that of 24 lacs. Few of the companies that show up during the placement season of the college 2017 were: 99acres.com, ABB, Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, Amazon, CapGemini, Cisco Systems, Cummins, Deloitte, Ericsson India, Ernst & Young. Hence if one is considering to take admission to this college in civil department, he or she can do it without a doubt as there is a 50% chance for you to land up in a core company.
