Hi there, first of all let me tell you, Civil engineers generally work in a variety of locations and conditions. It is common for them to split their time between working in an office and working outdoors at construction sites so that they can monitor operations or solve problems onsite. Now to work in multilingual environment, there is a high requirement of exposure to both National & International platform at the time of your pursuance of course itself. So in my opinion, it's better to grab the opportunity of International Exposure provided by the University. My friend did B.Tech in Civil at LPU. The placements at LPU are as follows: The maximum package for civil engineering was 19.75 LPA. 86% of the students get placed in civil engineering. Top recruiting companies are SOBHA REALTY, Trident Group, Great Learning, PHABLE, Cognizant Technology Solutions, etc. The majority of students are on internships subject to PPO (Pre-Placement Offer). The placement was good in circuit branches. Placements: The placement in our college for branches CS IS, EC is around 99%, and for branches EEE, EIE is around 90%. The placement for non-circuit branches are also good, not that much compared to circuit branches. Overall, the placement was okay, the highest salary is around INR 58 LPA by Arsisium company. Hi, The placements are good in BE (Civil Engineering) at RV College of Engineering, Bangalore the average placement is around INR. 5-6 Lacs and the highest package goes upto INR. 18-20 Lacs.
