    Hi there,
    Vidyalankar Institute of Technology was started in the year 1999 after having secured permission from the AICTE and University of Mumbai. It has slowly gained popularity and today attracts top talent. It caters to students who have passed the Maharashtra state board's HSC and CET examinations and desire to take up enigineering as their profession.
    The placements of the colleges in quite average, but CSE department has some better placement figures.
    Here are some of the insights of the college.

    The Vidyalankar Group of Educational Institutes is a prestigious education specialist that has established centrally recognised colleges and qualitative training institutes with branches across Maharashtra and Vidyalankar was established in 1960.
    VIT, every year, witnesses a good placement as it is ranked among top 10 colleges in Mumbai to do engineering from.
    The companies which visit VIT are:

    The placements at Vidyalankar Institute of Computer Science Engineering is really good. The placement ratio is almost 85% placement. The average package is around Rs 3 to Rs 4 lakhs per annum.
    Since this branch is among the evergreen field, the placement of this branch will increase with the good amount of packages. many companies like Infosys, TCS, L&T Group, Tech Mahindra etc takes students from here. This all credit goes to Training and Placement Cell Department of VIT. So it is really good to do computer science engineering from good Institutes for better packages.

    Vidyalankar Institute of Technology or VIT-Pune is a below average college which offered an average placement package of 3.5 Lacs in computer science engineering branch for the year 2017.
    Also, the highest placement package offered for the same branch is around 7.8 Lacs which is really poor for a college having the strategic advantage of being located at Pune which allows other Pune colleges to attract a large number of local companies.

    Vidyalankar Institute of Technology has a pretty good campus. There is a continuous evaluation as per Mumbai University Guidelines which makes a competitive environment amongst students and in this way they become eligible for the placement. It has good professors with a lot of experience which helps students for all the doubt and career related problems.
    The campus placements at Works Application offered Rs. 35 lakh PA, L&T Infotech offered Rs. 3.18 Lakh PA, Capgemini offered Rs. 3.1 Lakh PA, TCS offered Rs. 3.25 Lakh PA, Media.Net offered Rs. 7 Lakh PA, etc.
    90% placement opportunities are given to the students.

    The placement opportunities are very good. We have a large amount of companies visiting our campus. Infosys has partnership with Vidyalankar Around 100+ students get the job in Infosys per year. Work application also visits Vidyalankar with a packages of 35 lakhs per year
    Multinational companies like Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, Works Application, Mphasis, Accenture, Cognizent, Amazon etc. and some start-ups like Purplle.com, Nyka.com, Vodafone, Essar, etc. reach out to our college every year and selects more than 50 percent people. Packages range from 3.5-35 lakhs.
