    The total number of offers made to the engineering students also saw a rise of 60% in comparison to last year. Of the total 240 Engineering sector companies, more than 300+ MNCs offered pay-package of more than 5 LPA while number of companies offering package of more than 10 LPA touched 80+ this year. It is notable that the highest package of Rs. 52.11 LPA was offered by TOP Company.     In contrast to last year, the overall number of offers issued to engineering students increased by 60%. More than 300 MNCs issued compensation packages of more than 5 LPA out of the total 240 Engineering sector businesses this year, while the number of corporations giving packages of more than 10 LPA reached 80+. It is worth noting that TOP Company offered the maximum package of Rs. 52.11 LPA.     Computer Science Engineering students of University Institute of Engineering (UIE) created history as Top Multi-National offered the highest package of Rs. 52.11 lacs for the Engineering branch.     During the placement season, which included over 465 global businesses, a record number of 4950 students were chosen. In compared to the previous year, the number of firms visiting CU for placements increased by 30%, while the number of students selected increased by 60% to 4950. Wipro Technologies hired 109 students, Cognizant hired 93, and Capgemini hired 71 students from CU-Gharuan and CGC Landran, providing them a starting pay package of Rs. 3.55 lacs when they join as Software Engineers/ Developers.     Computer science engineering is very good Branch of Engineering of today. It stands first when it comes to the talk of Placements with good amount of packages.
    Chandigarh University is good University in India and well know for quality education and Placements.
    The placements at Chandigarh University of computer science engineering are really very good. The placement ratio is almost 90% placement.
    The average package is around 7-8 LPA.

    Chandigarh university offers a wide range of placements. Almost about 250 - 300 companies visit this campus and offers various jobs to students. Highest package offered during campus placement was 21.7 LPA. It was offered by AMAZON.
    Chandigarh University has a great placement drive program. Student may apply for campus by the end of 3rd year of the course. Many big companies visit Chandigarh University by every year with huge offers. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard visits the campus for conducting their campus placements every year.

    The Placement in the college are quite good and around 80-100% but it is according to individual it changes, That means some of the students required Government sector jobs with good package and job security and some other look forward for the Multinational companies only for the very high package.
    Problem here arises only when packages listed on the site is taken as the base line by the enrolling students but the fact behind that is these packages really do exist in the college but only for the extraordinary student, which are 1/2 out of 300-500 and they only get the package of 15 Lakhs and above but one should make sure that the avera
