Chandigarh University is good University in India and well know for quality education and Placements. The placements at Chandigarh University of computer science engineering are really very good. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, L&T, Wipro, etc. take students from here. This all credit goes to Training and Placement Cell Department of Chandigarh University. So it is really good to do computer science engineering from a reputed institute or university if someone is really interested in this. So the placement ratio at Chandigarh University is almost 90 %. And many generation of jobs for this Branch will be seen in future because of establishment of Many IT companies in India.

The placement record for 2016 passing-out batch itself got impressive with worlds top MNCs from diversified domains of engineering like Microsoft, Google, Hewlett-Packard, Polaris, Adobe, Infosys, Amazon, Dell, and Adani offered the best packages to the engineering students. Total 185 corporate company visited CU for placement session 2016. Amazon offered a record salary package of 22.5 LPA to the CSE students. 36 MNCs offered pay package of more than 5 LPA. The average salary package for students of 2016 passing-out batch is Rs. 5 LPA. Most of the students have three to four offer letters in hand and some even have 7-8 offers then you can decide which one is best for you. In CU, there are nearly 8 students who got 9+ LPA nearly 50 who got between 5 and 9 LPA and the rest of them are between 3 -5 LPA.

The Placement in the college are quite good and around 80-100% but it is according to individual it changes, That means some of the students required Government sector jobs with good package and job security and some other look forward for the Multinational companies only for the very high package. Problem here arises only when packages listed on the site is taken as the base line by the enrolling students but the fact behind that is these packages really do exist in the college but only for the extraordinary student, which are 1/2 out of 300-500 and they only get the package of 15 Lakhs and above but one should make sure that the average package is around 4 lakhs which is only distributed over the masses. So decide which type of student you are and then decide which is best for you. The another option is, if you are still confused than ask the one who has studied in the college and gone through all of these process, those seniors can let you know what the actual process is and what is the actuality of the companies and university.
