How are the placements of BE in CSE from Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Engineering?

Placements (in INR; as provided by the college): 2.50 Lakh Median Salary (Annual) 3.01 Lakh Average Salary (Annual) 7.00 Lakh Maximum Salary (Annual) Companies where students got placed: Accenture Amazon Amazon amdocs Bank of India BSA Corporation Ltd. BSNL CapGemini Capstone Cybage Emerson Electric Evosys Godrej and Boyce HCL Technologies HONEYWELL IBM iGate Infostretch L&T Infotech LG Electronics Mahindra and Mahindra Mphasis Newgen NTT Data Persistent Ltd. Reliance Communication Reliance Jio Reserve Bank of India SGS Technomech Siemens SYNTEL TATA Communications TATA ELXSI TCS Tech Mahindra Thyrocare Videocon Volkswagen Wipro Xoriant Zensar Technologies This year the placement was fairly good. Almost 40 percent of the students from computer science were placed in dream companies. Considering the mass placement, the percent of placed students goes to almost 75. Microsoft and Cisco were two super dream companies that hired in double digits (1216, I guess). Apart from that, another 1015 students (mostly GDC, 2 for IDC who did internships) got PPO from Microsoft. The highest package was offered by Amazon (27lakh -&get; 3 students). Directi (26 lakh -&get; 1 student), Paypal (21 lakh -&get; 7 students), De-Shaw (25 lakh -&get; 3 students). Overall, the number of placed students was more in this year than previous years. Many students were hired by IT Companies for mass placements.
