How are the placements of BE in CSE from Medi-Caps Institute of Technology and Management (Engineering)?

The placement at MITM is really good and appreciable, if you are in CS and IT you get placed easily if you do not have any of the back lock and you have skills you will surely get placed. Now, the college has upgraded to university. So, number of companies coming for placements are more as compared to previous years but the average package is around 4-4.5 Lakhs and around 80-90% of CS/IT student get placed in the following companies. Major recruiters include TCS, Cognizant, CSC, Amdocs, MuSigma, etc. The jobs offered to the students are mostly in the computer science field, even to the mechanical students. Placements for the year 2016 were horrible though, with various major companies refraining from recruiting from our college. This is the problem in the college that not too much companies come for placements and the above one come and students have to be get satisfied with them only and make sure it’s only for CS and IT students and don’t get confused with the other branches. They can also get placements only if they know coding languages and in these companies only, as there are no separate companies for them.
