How are the placements of BE in CSE from PES University?

Hi, The placement cell is very active of thus college. The package is given by HCL, Dell company INR. 2.6 Lacs per annum.

PES is one of above average universities in India. It is ranked 86th in the rankings of engineering colleges by National Institute ranking framework. And 44 students got a package less than 4 LPA CTC from companies like Accenture, Infosys, Volvo. So, overall placements were good at PES. As usual, BE in CSE irrespective of the college has a good placement history. Same goes with this PES University. More than 90% students throughout the campus get selected for the jobs in IT sector every year. In 2016, it has been said that CSE department got more than 95% placements. According to the placements statistics of academic year 2015-16, 30% students got around 10 LPA+ salary package. Placements statistics graph is growing very positively which is a symbol of having a very good and active placements cell. Some of the top notch companies coming for placements are Google, Qualcom, Microsoft, Cognizant, Flipkart, Myntra, IBM, Couch, Citrix, Helpchat, Intuit, Cisco, Infosys, Juniper, Wipro, Accenture, Ebay, Amazon, Capgemini, etc. According to a student studying there, CTC offered by some of these goes like Microsoft, Myntra and Citrix gives 16 LPA, Couch gives 20.2 LPA, Intuit gives 19.2 lpa, Helpchat gives 30 LPA. But, the overall package may range from 3.5 LPA to 24 LPA+.

PES University is one of the best colleges which give average good placement to CSE branch student. Around 40-50% of the recent batch managed to get a Tier-1 job. With the highest offers being somewhere around the 16-17L mark, this means salary was somewhere around the 6.5-7.5L mark. The highest package offered in PESU this year was 16 LPA by LinkedIn. Many other companies like Flipkart, EBay, Deshaw, Cisco, InMobi and McKinsey offered a package of more than 10 lacs. Then there were many companies like Zoho (32), Dell (4), Commvault (4), Oracle (4), Knolskape (7), Schlumberger (2), HP (18), Belzabar (1), JP Morgan (5), Caterpillar, Netapp, Via.com offering package more than 6 lakhs. Others companies like Deloitte, Mu Sigma and Schneider offered packages between 4- 5 lakhs and took students in good number. The remaining CSE students were selected by Accenture, Wipro and Cognizant. So overall the placement season this year of Computer Science was very good. Hello, PES University is best known for its placements especially in the CS department. There is a huge number of IT companies visiting the campus throughout the year. PES has a track record of 100% placement in this department. These categories of placements divided are as follows:- a) Tier 1: Above Rs 8 lakhs per annum b) Tier 2: Rs 4 to Rs 8 lakhs per annum c) Tier 3: below Rs 4 lakhs. Majority of the placements take place in Tier 1 for the CS department. The highest package offered last year was Rs. 22 lakhs per annum. There are a good number of offers between Rs 12 to Rs 20 lakhs. Companies visiting the campus are Microsoft, Accenture, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, HP, HCL VLSI, Walmart, Sandisk etc and many more. So for in 2017, a good number of students have already been placed with a package above Rs 12 lakhs. The placements records have been improving every year and are expected to improve more in the years to come.

PES University is one of the best private colleges in Karnataka as well as in Bangalore. It is known for its IT infrastructure, faculties with experience in teaching and facilities provided by them like labs, Wi-Fi and Sports Complex. It provides great environment and labs for the students of computer science engineering. The university is located in Bangalore and it provides help to achieve off campus placements. It ranks 49 in list of top engineering colleges of India. It offers many courses out of which computer science engineering is an easy course in which it takes about 90 students. The placements of this college is quiet good as according to last year the main recruiters are TCS, Dell, etc. And, the average pack is around INR. 3.65 Lacs.

PES University is ranked among the top 100 universities in India by National Institutional Ranking Framework (MHRD) in 2017. MoU with IIT Bombay for research and development activities and for programs leading to Bachelors, Masters and PhD degrees Academic collaboration with Safran Engineering Services India (SESI) to entail a series of projects for students and cater to the fields of electrical, mechanical and systems engineering. The placements are the best and that is the exact reason why PES is extremely hard to get in through CET. Computer science placements are the best and number of IT companies visit the campus to fetch the cream of students for their Tier-1 jobs offering stipends of up to 22 LPA. The average for any graduating CS student is an offer of around 6 lakhs per annum. A few of the companies are Goldman Sachs, Mindtree, Juniper Networks, Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, Microsoft and many other tier-1 companies. The best part about all of this is that for most tier-1 and tier-2 companies, the cutoff for the entrance test is 7CGPA and hence your GPA will not hinder your opportunity to try. They also hire a good number of third-year students as interns for the next summer. If you don't get a tier-1 or tier-2 job, rest assured Infosys and Wipro and Tech Mahindra, Accenture hire in bulk and you will definitely walk out with a job of at least 4 LPA.
