How are the placements of BE in Electrical Engineering from Thapar University?

Hi, I can't be specific about this particular specialisation but overall BE/B.Tech placement is 89%, Rs. 40.00 lacs. P. a. the highest salary package that was being offered and average Rs. 5.93 lacs p. a. salary package that is offered. The number of companies that visit is 231 that includes some big names in the industry like HCL, Hyundai, etc.

Big brands like :- Hikari Tsuhin (Job location Tokyo), Tata Consultancy Services, D.E.Shaw (I) Software: Infosys Technologies, Microsoft India, IBM, Sandisk Corporation, Samsung Research India, Informatica Corporation and Reliance Industries have visited the campus. Recently, two students of Thapar bagged 38 lakhs annual package. So, overall it gives you better opportunity and a chance to trigger your career with big brands. You will get a conducive environment to enjoy life at Thapar along with quality education and exposure to the industry. In my opinion, you should opt for it and can get good opportunity for your start of career.
