Hi, NSIT ECE faculty is fantastic, especially when it comes to research. They have a state of the art lab which is funded by Texas instruments completely. Numerous workshops are held here, in which the students are taught more about how things run in the industry. The placements at NSIT are really cool and I think by now, everyone knows this particular thing about NSIT if not the other good things. See, you get placed at a good company is a measure of how much you know and your knack for learning new things and implementing them in the real world. That is the crux of bagging any good offer and NSIT is a good place to hone your skills as the seniors are there to help you as and when needed. Placement scenario:- Highest package to an ECE student of batch 2016 from NSIT was Rs 26 lakhs and that was in a software company. But in core electronics company it was Rs 15.9 lakhs (PPO) and Rs 14.9 lakhs in placement session and that was offered by Texas Instruments. Highest packages are mostly in software companies which would increase average package of the branch. Always see the median package, it will tell you stats clearly. All the best.
