Hi, PES University is one of the good universities if you are looking for a reputed private engineering college. Now, coming back to your question, as per the sources, a variety of companies with varying agendas visit the campus during placements and the students have a lot of fields to choose from. The only regret is that the core jobs are decreasing rapidly and students are being forced to go into a different field because there are no jobs in their field of study. As per the stats available, 95% of the students get placed every year from ECE branch with wonderful job profiles in average to high profile companies. The average package is somewhere around 4.5 LPA (in 2016-2017). CGPA is an important criterion. People say CGPA isn't important, but it is. Apart from good placements, PES University offers a really good environment for students to meet diverse and highly self-motivated students who wish to achieve something great in their life. I would suggest adapting some coding skills if you get admission in ECE branch in PES, it will help you a lot.
