NSIT is one of the premier engineering colleges in the country. Engineering aspirants can aim for the college after IITs, NITs, and DTU.
As per the yearly rankings released by sources like HT Mint, NDTV and Outlook the college is one among the top 20 engineering colleges in India.

I am not a NSITian, but I will try to answer this question mentioning all the major points asked in the question.
Placement in NSIT ICE branch is not that bad.
Both ECE and ICE branch students compete for the same tech companies. Also, the course structure for ICE batch is not much different when compared to that of ECE.
ICE is considered as one of the easiest and scoring branches of NSIT.
Well if you are willing to get a job, you will definitely get placed. Almost everyone in ICE gets placed. Placement in the year 2016 was about 200% (at least 2 offers to everyone who sat for placements) with an average of 6.5-7 LPA. Well, there's a 90...more
