The mechanical engineering though a widely taught stream having a wide scope in the present scenario reflects a very nice placement statistics in the cities especially Bangalore.
The most powerful aspect of the institution is its connectivity with the corporate India headquarters situated in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai.

Placements are good for CSE, EC, IT, IS but for mechanical have the worst ever placements in our college. If you are willing to complete engineering and then work for some multinational companies, then please never join this college. We don't have any hope that we will get placed in any of the companies.
Placement are usually 97% of the eligible students, the packages are better when compared to other colleges. Students from CS, Mec, EEE, Civil do get placed easily but for others, its a struggle if students have decent percentage they to get placed with high salary.
Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT) witnesses about 70-80% placement
