Greetings from Shiksha!! Mechanical engineering is among the best course of engineering of today. Many Placements opportunities are there in this Branch. The placements at BVU College of Engineering for mechanical engineering is really good. The placement ratio is almost 80% placement. The average package is around Rs 6 to Rs 8 lakhs per annum. Since this branch is among the evergreen field, the placement of this branch will increase with good amount of packages. Many companies like L&T, Tata Group, Reliance Group, Bosh Group, Wipro, Ashok Leyland, Ford, Maruti Suzuki,etc takes students from here. This all credit goes to Training and Placement Cell Department of BVU. So the placement ratio of BVU is almost 80% and in future, it will be like this only for mechanical engineering and other top engineering fields. There are many possibilities of increase in Placements of mechanical engineers under the Make In India Initiative. And there will more recruitment in government sector and Public Sector Undertaking PSUs for Mechanical Engineers.

BVU College is always trying to provide good employment opportunities, including self-employment, to the engineering students, commensurate with their specialization and caliber. In 2013-14 total 86 companies visited for the placements and provided placement to 335 students of this college. Having a total placement record of 83%. Maximum Salary:- Rs 10.20 Lakh per annum Minimum Salary:- Rs 3.20 Lakh per annum Average salary:- Rs 6.70 Lakh per annum On an average, 73% of eligible students with average marks more than 55% get placed through campus placements. The average salary offered by companies to placed students was Rs. 5.18 LPA. Hello, Bharati Vidyapeeth of Pune is a deemed university and has a good reputation in Maharashtra for faculty and facilities in their campus. The institution has come a long way from initial years of chaos, accusations and counter accusations of rivals in the field. Hard work, the unflinching aim of providing quality education to its students and recruitment of good faculty helped it to overcome all obstacles and become one of the finest education provider in Pune and Maharashtra. It has a very vibrant placement cell which is in touch with different industries and this helps it place more than 75% of its students every year. This is great considering dismal records of many other establishments in and around Pune. The average package obtained by the last batch of mechanical engineering students was about Rs 5.5 lakhs with highest going beyond Rs 10 lakhs. This appears to be better when compared with other engineering colleges. All in all one of the best places to study and to hope for better placement also. Though being private, fee appear to be on a higher side but then for better future one surely needs to spend more.
