The only drawback with this college is that they fail to provide with 100% batch placement.
Considering the placement report of 2016 of Anna University in mechanical branch almost 75 students got placed while 10% student went on for the further studies abroad. Some of the companies that make round during placement season are:

Anna University is one of the most famous colleges in South India and has a really low acceptance rate which makes the college full of beautiful minds and so is the reason why the placement report of this college has always been excellent.

Majority of Mechanical get placed in core sector and very few have received IT and relevant roles, but almost 90% students get placed with average of 4lpa.
Notwithstanding the withdrawal of offers by the e-commerce and software companies, Anna University got off to a bright start to its campus placement drive as three students have received offer letters for Rs 28 lakh per annum, surpassing last year's highest offer. The campus placement began last week in the university.
