How are the placements of BE in Mechanical Engineering from Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering?

Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering is among the top colleges in the Mumbai, but only in terms of infrastructure and academics and if you get your hopes high about the placements in the college, you are about get disappointed really bad. The college provides for an average placement package of around 3.5 lacs and that too in IT corporate companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Accenture or actually mass recruiters which tells about the state of placement in the college. The total batch placement percentage is around 70% and almost no core placement is seen in the college. Hence, the placements in the college are not at all satisfactory and one looking for placements should not take admission for the sake of it. The highest placement in the college for mechanical engineering branch in 2017 branch was around 5-6 LPA. Hence I would recommend someone to join the college only if he or she has no other option.
