Placements have always been good. A big bunch of both MNCs and startups come for recruitment throughout the year. Although mainly the companies are IT firms, favouring IT and CSE candidates but other branch students too are allowed to apply for those jobs. Package values ranged from 2 lakhs per annum to 30 lakh per annum with many companies paying around 10-15 lpa. Companies like Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle, DeShaw, PayPal, Erricson, Morgan Stanley, Direct, Blackrock are among regular recruiters in VIT. So placements in VIT are good for both CSE and IT branch. -
Hi Spandan, IT placements are fabulous in VIT, Pune. One of my friends was in the same department. He told me that, this year they had 100% placements. On an average, most of the department gets placed every year, as a lot of IT companies come to the campus. All the Best! -
VIT, Vellore campus is the only best as compared to other campus of VIT. VIT, Vellore has good placements records. Everything like infrastructure, placements, faculty etc is fabulous here.
