How are the placements of LPU M.Sc. Agriculture programme?

Hello Nikki, I have spent 4 years in lpu for my studies and I have seen that the agriculture department is one of the finest departments. Well-equipped and well grown from the last couple of years. Moreover, LPU is the first private university got ICAR approval. LPU holds a stellar record in placements as big brands like VLCC Healthcare Ltd. , Ankur Seeds, HDFC, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. , Ebro India Pvt. Ltd. , etc. Have visited for campus recruitment at packages upto 4.5 LPA. In addition to this, students can attain positions as Agriculture Inspectors, Agriculture Officers, POs, Food Quality Inspectors, Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Technical Assistants and administrative posts in government and non-government organizations. Over and above, I also came to know that recently, LPU has been ranked in top 80 amongst all private and government institutes by NIRF, MHRD, GOI which shows the quality being delivered at the institute.

It lays a thrust on carrying out research in agricultural and allied fields. The university has well-equipped laboratories, a library, lecture rooms, and an excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments. Students learn about the latest advancements in the field of agriculture, disease resistance, fertilizers and, insecticides with extensive fieldwork and field trips preparing them for the evergreen field of agriculture. I had many friends who were enrolled in this course. On the basis of feedback of the students and Alumni, LPU is the right place to pursue Agriculture in Graduation because of the following: 1. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. 2. The University is among very few private institutions in India which are putting continuous efforts on academics, research, overall development, culture, professional ethics, and providing suitable infrastructure for the same. 3. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid a stipend too. LPU holds the stellar record in placements as big brands like VLCC Healthcare Ltd. , Ankur Seeds, HDFC, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. , Ebro India Pvt. Students of Agriculture and Forestry had a research stay and an Edu-excursion Camp at TERI University New Delhi. The international camp was organized to share projects by students related to sustainable water resources management. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes.
