How are the placements of LPU?

LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. Apart from that, internships as well as capstone projects are an integral part of curriculum which are very vital for getting placement. A lot of students have successfully started their own ventures as entrepreneurs. The university has its own start up school which promotes start ups in collaboration with startup India programme. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes from first year onward, it may be Soft-Skills, G. D, presentations, Extempores, Technical Interviews, Personal Interviews. To make the students to crack their dream companies Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. And this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 650 placement/internship drives have been conducted till February 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs). Lovely Professional University provides placement opportunities to all the deserving candidates, from all courses. It's up to the student's capability to be able to grab the opportunity or not. Till now thousand of students are placed at a very good package all around the world. Some of the alumni are working in the top 10 brands in the world. Recently, Tania Arora, a fourth-year B.Tech CSE student of Lovely Professional University (LPU) got selected as a software engineer in Microsoft with a huge salary package of Rs 42 Lacs per annum. A final year student of M.Sc. Agriculture (Agronomy) has bagged a package of Rs. 1 crore. The package has been offered by Monsanto, an agrochemical company and now part of the crop sciences. This student has been offered the role of production manager at MonsantoNSE 0.13 % Canada, according to the institute. Lovely Professional University Placement Highlights: Recently 13 students got placed in Amazon with 30 LPA. Three students of Computer Science batch has been placed in Amazon for a salary package of 28 LPA and 28 students have been selected as an intern who could be converted into a full-time employee after their internship. Talking about engineering streams, the highest and the most quality recruited are the computer Science and electrical students. The average placements from both the branches combinable are 8 LPA. For the rest branches, the placements may vary from, 3-20 LPA. From commerce stream, MBA students and hotel management students get the most being up to 11 LPA. Similar are the data with the other streams for agricultural, pharmacy, multimedia, etc.

Aspiring minds have ranked LPU as having Most Employable Students in consecutively twice in a row for previous academics sessions. ASSOCHAM (Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India) rated LPU as Best Private University with regards to placements. Zee News Survey rated us as 11th Best in India in Placements. Several Big Brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic session 2015-2016 for campus placements, students training/workshops, faculty development, etc. and the process is still going on at full pace. Around 150+ companies visit every year for campus-placement of students from LPU. And this year already more than 180 placement drives till Feb 2017 of leading industry giants have been conducted successfully (more than 90% being MNCs) for students passing out in 2017. I have done MBA from LPU and I believe that whatever I am today I owe it to LPU. LPU placements are one of the best in whole India. Placement roadmap in LPU is very simple I. e. Personal development, Discipline Knowledge, Internships, Pre-placement Activities, placements. LPU focuses on every step. Let me explain: 1. Personal development is all about It is all about : confidence, communication skills, presentation skills, body gestures, dressing SENSE and attitude. And LPU works for the personality development of the students through teaching strategies. 2. Discipline Knowledge is provided by the faculty in a very effective manner I. e. simulation based, case based teaching etc. LPU faculty believes that basic concepts must be clear, don't cram the things. I have good experience in LPU, it is good in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. Moreover the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) such as Amazon, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Trident Group, Cognizant Technology Solutions etc. And generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session. LPU I believe that you should visit LPU campus.
