Nanoscience and Technology (B.Sc-M.Sc) is a ten-semester integrated course spread over the period of five years. The School of Nanoscience and technology, Shivaji University, Kolhapur, offers this course on its campus. It is designed to offer in-depth knowledge of the subject starting from its basic concepts to the state of art nanotechnologies in use today. The School of Nanoscience and Technology (SNST) was established during the Golden Jubilee Year of Shivaji University, June 2012. The department currently offers B.Sc. - M.Sc. five year integrated course in Nanoscience and Technology. The SNST intends to cultivate an interdisciplinary approach and bring together major science branches like Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Mathematics and Electronics under one umbrella.
