    Dear Aagam, LPU is considered one of the best university in north India. Its placement is very high especially for CSE & IT & ECE engineering. But as you are asking for petroleum engineering then it's not a good college for this I would suggest you to choose UPES Dehradun for this branch.

    Getting the placement in petroleum engineering is very difficult. Most of the student get suggested to learn coding and get placed in IT companies. Rest depends on your capabilities.

    Dear Aagam, LPU is good for a B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering. If you opt for the course, you will get to learn in one of the best academic environments in the university. The four year course consists of 8 semesters and is a relatively unexplored field of engineering. You can check out the detailed list of subjects that will be covered in the entire course duration at the official website of LPU. Once the course starts, do not forget to attend the workshops and guest lectures organized by the university as you get to gain a lot from it. Also, try to grab the outstanding internship and training opportunities that the university offers
