If your goal is to get placed sooner than opt for B.Tech only. M.Tech is not very helpful in placement and it also takes a longer time. Geology engineers are mostly hired in land and surveying companies like Reliance, L&T, etc. , are some of the top players.

Hi Rinkal, If you are 10+2 pass out and got selected in any of the renowned universities or colleges, then it is good to opt of integrated M.Sc. (Tech) in applied geology. Otherwise, it is better to go for B.Sc. And then pursue M.Sc. (through JAM exam) in IITs or India's top-rated universities. Fee- If you get selected in a government. College, the fee will be less compared to private universities/colleges. Placements will be good in case of integrated as well as Bachelor's degree given that you get selected in a government college. Hope that helps.
