How are the studies & placements at LPU if CSE is pursued?

Shashank, LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, etc. High tech MAC lab.s have been set up for the benefit of students. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. The placed ones have been offered packages as high as 20 LPA. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. Placement is good in Lovely Professional University. Faculty members are good but some are below average. Overall it's a good place from where a person can pursue Bachelor of technology.

Dear Aspirant, The demand for CSE graduates is high in the market and corporate sector due to sharp increase in software based applications and management system. Every university is doing good for his students for their best career. There are certain parameters such as placements, infrastructure, faculty level, environment, growth etc. To be considered while selection of institute for pursuing education. It a big question in the mind of a student as well as parents that what will the offers and placement scenario of educational institute when the student will be about to complete the course. LPU is an international university with more than 700+ tie ups with industries and companies to support academic and placement of his students. My cousin sister done her B.Tech in CSE from here and she got placed in Cognizant with top package. Other friends of her also placed in other companies such as Capgemini, Tech. Mahindra, BOSCH, Amazon, SAP, Texas Instruments, Cadence, Sandisk, Moserbear. Their junior Tanya Arora who is recently in news got placed in Microsoft with 42 LPA So, we have no doubt that LPU is best and benchmarks for placement and internships of students not only in CSE but also in other courses. One more point I want to highlight here is that the scholarships offered by LPU helps a student without any monetary burden. Now, LPU has floated COVID-19 Front-line Scholarship for COVID survivors and their dependents as well which is the best possible effort it can provide to target every aspirant in this current scenario. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Aspiring Minds have ranked LPU as having Most Employable Students in consecutively twice in a row for previous academics sessions. ASSOCHAM (Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India) rated LPU as Best Private University with regards to placements. Zee News Survey rated us as 11th Best in India in Placements. Several Big Brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic session 2015-2016 for campus placements, student’s training/workshops, faculty development, etc. And the process is still going on at full pace. Around 150+ companies visit every year for campus-placement of students from LPU. And this year already more than 150 placement drives of leading industry giants have been conducted successfully (more than 90% MNCs) for students passing out in 2016. Greetings from Shiksha. LPU is amongst the top engineering institute of India. And For CSE, LPU is good option. Studies or Curriculum of LPU is best in every means. And, placements are also good of around 90% ratio. And many well-known companies come for placements.

Engineering Programs at LPU are in the same league as BITS Pilani &amp; many of IITs. As per the world ranking 2022 LPU has been ranked 10th amongst top universities of India in engineering subject. The CSE course of LPU has been ranked 9th in computer Science, amongst top universities of India. Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of 2012 batch, the knowledge that I gained while my course duration has helped me a lot in shaping my career. I am currently working as an Application Development Analyst in Accenture, Noida. To begin with, LPU provides a lot of options in engineering only. It is one of the most highlighted courses. It has B.Tech and B.Tech (Hons) courses. B.Tech (Hons. ). With time they had introduced my new programs considering in mind the change occurring in technology. LPU has been ranked in the top 100 private universities by many outer agencies such as Business Today, golden star awards, Digital learning, zee news etc. More than 600 companies visit every year for various industry-academia activities and campus recruitment of students from LPU Following is the data showing the placements of LPU students by top brand companies. 1. Microsoft with a package of 42 Lacs per annum. 2. Amazon with a package of 16 Lacs per annum The main concern of every student and their parents is the job and LPU fulfills that requirement. According to the placement data of 2019-20 LPU has given jobs to 90% of their students appearing in the interview. Even in 2020-21 placement record was up to 72% considering the lockdown situation and rising cases of corona patients, LPU has delivered its promise.
