In case of a tie in marks secured by candidates, rank may be resolved as follows:

For Admission into Polytechnics Ranks will be given in preferential order of marks secured in Maths, Physics. If still tie persists, the rank may be resolved by seniority based on the Date of Birth of the candidates.
