How are the TS POLYCET ranks decided in case of ties?

<p>In case of a tie in marks secured by candidates, rank may be resolved as follows:</p><ul><li>For Admission into Polytechnics Ranks will be given in preferential order of marks secured in Maths, Physics. If still tie persists, the rank may be resolved by seniority based on the Date of Birth of the candidates.</li><li>Agricultural Polytechnics of Prof. Jayashankar Agricultural University, Hyderabad and Veterinary Polytechnics of PVNR TVU, Hyderabad the ranks will be given in preferential order of marks secured in Biology, Physics, Chemistry If still, the tie persists, the rank may be resolved by seniority based on the Date of Birth of the candidates. While resolving the tie based on the Date of birth as entered in the S.S.C. Certificate of the Candidate, a candidate born earlier will be deemed to have obtained better rank. In case the tie is still not resolved, the candidate who has secured a higher percentage of marks in the qualifying examination will be considered to have obtained a better rank, to resolve the tie.</li></ul>
