How are Vellore Institute of Techonology-AP 2023 cut off marks determined?

<p data-sourcepos="3:1-3:112">The Vellore Institute of Technology-AP (VIT-AP) 2023 cutoff marks are determined based on the following factors:</p><ul data-sourcepos="5:1-10:0"><li data-sourcepos="5:1-5:30">Difficulty level of the exam</li><li data-sourcepos="6:1-6:31">Previous year's cutoff trends</li><li data-sourcepos="7:1-7:48">Number of candidates who appeared for the exam</li><li data-sourcepos="8:1-8:43">Number of seats available for each course</li><li data-sourcepos="9:1-10:0">Average performance of the students in the entrance exam</li></ul><p data-sourcepos="11:1-11:523">VIT University uses equating methodology to calculate candidate's marks. The cutoff marks for VITEEE 2023 will be released separately for each engineering stream, with higher and lower cutoffs based on candidate preferences. The cutoff marks are the minimum marks required in the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam to get admission into the campuses. Candidates who meet the VIT Vellore cutoff marks 2023 will be considered for admission. The cutoff marks for VITEEE 2023 are expected to be released in the 2nd week of May 2023.</p>
