srm is quite good but i would suggest you to consider it only when you dont hav any other options in chennai like anna univ. , SHASTRA (in thanjavur), IIT , Madras Univ. etc........If You are in biotechnology then you can write exams like CBEE for anna ,GATE for IIT,Shastra entrance etc......before
