IT giants such as Microsoft, IBM, SAP Labs, Hewlett Packard visited CU and recruited more than 2030 CSE/IT Engineering students. Worlds top IT giant Microsoft selected Computer Science and IT Engineering students consecutively for last three years, while number the selections have increased three times and touched 15. India's leading IT Company Wipro (394), Capgemini (217), Mindtree (101) while the global IT giant IBM also selected record number of 196 engineering students which is the highest number of selections made in any campus in North India.

It is up to you, how you react to challenges. If you are in any top rank college, you will get a lot more opportunities, a lot of exposure, most of people around you will be equally or more intelligent than you and the competition is always on and you can easily find your strength and weakness. Where as in average colleges, your growth tends to depend on how you create opportunities and make most of it. The best example of this is Mr. Satya Nadella CEO of Microsoft, the only thing I want to mention about him is that he is not from IIT. Always be self motivator and keep on improving your programming skills and have faith in yourself. Prepare yourself so well that you don't need to run after these big giants, they will follow you!
