First of all, don't think that you came from middle class family, because this is the only thing that only you knows and no other knows, because this will affect you badly in your college. Another thing is that you can easily get a good institute without any problem and even you can get government institute without any problem. The only thing you have to do is take a reliable and cost effective counseling or simply surf on the NET which government college that you can get.

Well, first of all, you need to prepare nicely for your engineering entrance examinations like GATE JEE etc. Based on your results, apply for admissions in the colleges, and you will be given the college on the basis of your score and rankings. Some of the cheapest Engineering colleges are:
    1-Jamia Milia Islamia Delhi
2-Jadavpur University, runs by the government of Kolkata, West Bengal
3-Technology Education and Research Integrated Institution
    4-Netaji Shubas Institute of Technology
5-Tula's Institute (currently ranked no 1 in Dehradun).

    Hello Rakesh,
For a middle class ordinary average student, Aeronautical engineering is not the branch at all. Even engineering. Last year about 50% of fresh graduates did not get job. Then why should you go? I would advise you to take up AME instead which is a three year course with good potential for placements.

Only by scoring good marks in the academic sessions and scoring well in JEE examination. You must score at least 75% in your board examinations. You may also go for other private universities such as SRM Chennai, VIT Vellore, Indraprastha University and Uttar Pradesh Technical University.

First, you have to understand that scholarships are not for everyone. You have to tick a few boxes for that. There are several types of scholarships. Your 10+2 %, SC/ST quota, BPL card holder and all that. Select your desired college. Talk to them that if they give any kind of scholarships or not. If yes, then what are the criteria? But nowadays, there is a great opportunity for engineering students as there is a scholarship called TFW. If you are eligible in it, then it is very helpful and most of the colleges are now connected with TFW scheme. So try this.
