UofW offers a variety of services including orientation, socio-cultural events, and a mentorship programme to international students. Students can also take part in the sports / athletics. This university is home to The Winnipeg Wesmen men's and women's volleyball and basketball teams, and a women's soccer team. Also, the university supports a number of inner-city youth teams within the Wesmen family.
