    Dear Manmeet, India being agrarian country, the demand for Agri-professionals is not going down anytime soon. Lots of Government as well as Private job opportunities are present for fresh graduates. Talking about Government jobs, State Agriculture Departments recruit agriculture graduates to fill up Officer level posts. Government Banks also recruit them to fill up Officer level posts (generally dealing with Loans). Some government sector organisations which have job opportunities are:
    Indian Agricultural Research Institute
    North Eastern Region Agricultural Marketing Corporation
    Agricultural finance corporations
    Indian Council of Agricultu

    Hi Dear, Bachelor's degree in agriculture is a big demanding degree now a days even in the government sector. I know about one of the premier institution in India which is situated in Jalandhar, Punjab "lovely professional University" this is India's first private University to get the ICAR accreditation. I am a resident of Jalandhar city so I know enough of LPU. It is a lush green campus in more than 600 acres of land. If I am not wrong they have allocated approximately 20 to 30 acres of land to the students of school of agriculture just for the research purpose.
