To join the Army Institute of Law (AIL) in Mohali, candidates must pass the Law Entrance Test (LET):
- The LET is an online, 200-mark, 2-hour exam.
- The exam is divided into four sections:
- English
- Mathematics and reasoning
- Legal section
- GK and current affairs
- The AIL conducts the LET under the aegis of AWES.
- The AIL conducts the LET to admit 75 seats for wards of army personnel and 5 seats for the All India Category.
- To apply for the BA LLB course, candidates must have completed 10+2 exams from Punjab School Education Board or equivalent examination with at least 45% aggregate score.
