How can candidates join Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research?

<p>This is how applicants can be admitted into the Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (IPGMER):<br><br>1. For MBBS Admission: <br>Eligibility: Pass in Plus Two with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology should qualify and at least 50% marks (relaxed for SC/ST/OBC) must be obtained.<br>NEET-UG: You need to clear the NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) test and get a score within the cutoff rank for IPGMER.<br>Counseling: Based on the NEET-UG results, those candidates qualify for counseling that is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) or MCC for all-India quota seats.<br>Document Verification and Admission: Selected candidates after counseling are required to verify documents and proceed with the admission process.<br>2. For MD/MS: Postgraduate Studies Acquisition :-<br>Eligibility: Completion of the MBBS degree from a recognised institution and completion of a one-year internship is required of applicants.<br>NEET-PG: One must appear for the NEET-PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate courses) and score well for eligibility for counseling.<br>Counseling: After the results of NEET-PG, candidates must go for counseling to have their seats allocated. Counseling is conducted by WBUHS or by MCC for the all-India quota seats.<br>Document Verification and Admission: After selection, candidates would undergo processing of documents and the admission process. Admission will be based on performance in NEET-UG/NEET-PG among other factors, and subsequently, candidates will have to go through the relevant counseling process to stand a chance of securing a seat in IPGMER.</p>
