JUIT B.Tech Admission
Admission to the B.Tech course in JUIT is based on merit in the entrance examinations or merit in the qualifying examination. Entrance-based admission to B.Tech depends on the All India Rank of the candidates in JEE MAIN
Merit-based admission depends on the candidates’ performance in their qualifying examination. For merit-based admission, the university will conduct a counselling in the month of July. Candidates shall be informed prior and they will be allowed choice of maximum three programs.

JUIT offers a “10+2 Merit-Based” admission route for B.Tech for certain seats — i.e. based on your Class 12 (or equivalent) marks instead of national entrance exam rank.
The eligibility for this usually requires: having passed 10+2 (or equivalent) in 2023–2025 and meeting minimum marks (in many cases ~ 60% aggregate, with Physics + Mathematics + appropriate third subject) as specified.
For some disciplines (e.g. Bioinformatics/Biotechnology), there is explicit mention of “non-JEE / 10+2 marks based” admissions.
