The following criteria are used to determine merit, which shall be the only factor considered in the selection of pupils.
In both qualifying and competitive exams, a candidate for admission to the medical programme must have received not less than 50% in English and 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined.
2. Additionally, it is stipulated that applicants from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes (OBC) must have a combined score of 40 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology during the qualifying examination.
