To join UPES School of Computer Science, candidates must have valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as JEE Main, CUET, and others. The mode of UPES School of Computer Science admission is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and scores of entrance exams. If applying though JEE Main, candidates must prepare well for the entrance exams by practicing the JEE Main question papers. Prepare well according o the JEE Mains exam pattern. Make sure to pay the application fee which is INR 1,350.

The admission requirements for the School of Computer Science, UPES, vary depending on the programs:
For B.Tech. Programs:
Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in Class X and XII with 50% in PCM in Class XII.
For BCA and B.Sc. Programs:
Candidates should have 50% marks in Class X and XII with Mathematics/Computer Science/Information Technology as one of the major subjects in Class XII.
For M.Tech. Programs:
1. Candidates should have a minimum of 60% marks in Class X and XII.
2. Eligible candidates should have a B.Tech/BE
