How can I apply for admission at LPU?

I have checked the admission procedure of many universities, all have their own procedure of admission. But in the case of LPU, it does not provide direct admission to all the programme. A few programmes are there in which you can take direct admission. On the other hand, for most of the programmes at LPU, you have to qualify for their LPU NEST exam. Let me share the procedure of admission at LPU. I am taking an example of a B.Tech programme. Step 1 - Signup Register onto admission. Lpu. In with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No. , State, Gender and Password). Your email id will act as your username for the portal and password will be set by you while registering on the portal. You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this. Login to the admission. Lpu. In with already created username/ password. STEP 2 - Apply for LPU NEST (Eligibility and Scholarship Test) LPUNEST is an online test which acts as a gateway to programme you are interested in. Admission in this programme is done based on performance in LPU NEST. In addition, LPU NEST also act as Scholarship test and student can avail huge scholarship based on performance in this test. Deposit the test fee: Cost of Application form and Soft copy of LPU NEST Kit is 1000 (for Boys) and 500 (for Girls). Cost of Application form and Printed LPU NEST Kit is 1500 (for Boys) and 1000 (for Girls). Fill the test application form. STEP 3 - Book the Exam Slot and Appear Book the slot (preferred date and time) to appear in the Online Remotely Proctored LPU NEST Exam. Appear and qualify the exam. STEP 4 - Result and Seat Allotment (Online Counselling) Get your scorecard/ rank. Fill the seat preference. The student can give preferences which can vary in stream and programme. In the first round of counselling, depending upon the seat availability and preferences filled by the candidates, a particular preference number would be allotted. Download the allotment letter and proceed for admission step. STEP 5 - Admission Deposit initial payment of Rs. 20000. After the successful realization of the payment: A Unique Provisional Registration No. Will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID. Upload the documents: Recent Photograph, Matriculation Marksheet, Qualifying exam Certificate Address Proof All the submitted documents are to be verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines. Deposit the balance fee within the timelines prescribed by the university. I hope this helps Thanks!

You can visit the nearby office of LPU in your state. This can you know from visiting LPU website <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="www.lpu.in" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>www.lpu.in</a>. There you have to take your original documents with photostate of each document. From that office, you will take admission and you can apply for hostel type, food. You can apply for LPU NEST which will give you a scholarship. After that you will be asked for your nearby center references. U can give LPU NEST after that. Your admission procedure is completed. After that, you have to visit LPU on joining date and you have to verify your original documents in the LPU. After that, you will be given your identity card.

The Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test LPU NEST is a national entrance and scholarship test for admission to several programmes at Lovely Professional University. LPU NEST is both an admission as well as a scholarship test. Even if LPNEST is not mandatory for the programme that you aspire for, you can take the test for a mere scholarship. Your score in LPU NEST will determine the percentage of your scholarship. Well, it depends upon the programme you would like to take admission in. What eligibility criteria it follows. If the eligibility says subject to qualifying LPU NEST then you have to clear the entrance exam. In addition to qualifying it also provides you a good amount of scholarship if you score well. In case the eligibility of the programme says Pass or only states some percentage criteria, only then LPU NEST will not be a mandatory to qualify. Still in this case, a candidate has an option to appear for LPU NEST just for the sake of scholarship purposes. As LPU NEST is short for Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship test. In my opinion a candidate should appear for this exam even if it is not mandatory, the reason behind that is, there is a chance that you can avail a good scholarship. Hope I have answered your query. Now log in to the same website with already created username/ password. STEP 2 - Apply for LPU NEST (Eligibility and Scholarship Test). LPU NEST is an entrance test conducted by LPU for admission in various programmes. It aims to check how far the concepts from the previous qualification are clear. It's tough but those who have studied honestly will be able to make it. Don't you worry, the syllabus of LPU NEST is all that you have studied in your previous qualification. In addition to it, there are questions of reasoning, verbal ability, analytical ability are also there. LPU NEST is a proctored exam and questions are asked in the form of MCQs. The result is displayed on the dash board of the student after 24 hrs. One gets two chances of attempting LPU NEST. The best of the two results will be applicable for scholarship. One has to register oneself with the university and pay online for taking LPU NEST. Application form will be in a format that can be processed by Optical Mark Reader (OMR). Depending on the current COVID-19 situation, The admission process was totally online. 1. Fully online application and admission process - From filling up of registration form to conducting the entrance test, including the interview process everything is online. 2. Online Payment - LPU provides online methods for payment, it can be done through credit card/Debit card /online bank transfer/ UPI. 3. Online Classes- Major problem faced by students during this pandemic was the cancelling or delaying of examination but LPU stood out from other universities and institutes in conducting timely examination and declaring results.

Every year, LPU hires about 2000 people to improve the user experience and make things easier. Applying for admission to LPU is an easy process.
