How can I apply for B.E. / B.Tech at St. Michael College of Engineering and Technology?

<p>All the following shall be undergone by a candidate to get their admission into the B.E./B.Tech programs at SMCET:</p><p>1. Eligibility: Basic eligibility criteria are as follows: one needs to pass the 12th standard or equivalent examination with core subjects physics, chemistry, and mathematics.</p><p>2. TNEA Admission: All admissions would be through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions, popularly known as TNEA. An applicant has to apply through the online portal of TNEA. The whole process usually requires submission of marks obtained in 12th grade and other required documents.</p><p>3. Counseling: Counseling will be conducted immediately after the submission of the application forms based on the merit ranking of the merit list allotted to the relevant students. Admission to colleges strictly will be strictly on merit ranks under TNEA. You must seek counseling in TNEA, where you can get admission into the college and course where you would like to go based on your rank.</p><p>4. Direct Admission: If candidates are applying under *management quota seats*, the college may have certain different procedures for admissions. Contact the college directly at their admission office for details.</p><p>5. Application Form: Maintain close vigil on dates and procedures relating to applications and counseling at the college website or at the TNEA portal.</p>
