<p>To apply for B.Tech. in Marine Engineering at CUSAT, candidates should register for CAT 2025, select the course B.Tech, and complete the application registration. The admission is based on the IMU rank, and candidates need to appear for the Common Entrance Test conducted by Indian Maritime University (IMU). Existing registrants can update their IMU CET details. The programme has an intake capacity of 80 students per year, selected on an all-India basis by conducting the Common Admission Test (CAT). The B-tech degree programme in Marine Engineering spans 8 semesters, providing students with a modern and sound education in basic Science and engineering subjects, along with in-depth knowledge of various facets of marine engineering. An intensive practical training of 6 months duration is given to all cadets inside the DG-approved Ship-in-Campus Lab and in the machinery overhauling workshop.</p>
