<p>To apply for BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Sardar Patel Post Graduate Institute of Dental and Medical Sciences, 1. Candidate must have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or should be completing it by the 31st December of the year of Admission for the 5 year degree course of B.D.S. 2. All candidates must have qualified the National Entrance Eligibility Test (<strong>NEET</strong>). 3. Candidates must qualify 12th class examination with Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English subjects. 4. For General category candidates, it is mandatory to score 50% marks in 12th grade, whereas SC/ST/OBC category candidates must score 40% marks to become eligible for NEET. 5. The Undergraduate Training Program is of 5 years. 6. The training of the Undergraduate Students shall be full time. 7. The participation of the students in all facets of Education process is essential. 8. Training should include involvement in Laboratory Work, Group Discussions, Pre-Clinical Exercises and Clinics, with graded responsibilities in the management and treatment of Patients entrusted to his/her care. 9. Students should be regular and punctual in attending the classes and clinics. 10. Attendance should not be less than 75% in lecture and 75% in clinics and practical for appearing the university examinations. 11. The duration of compulsory rotatory internship shall be of one year.</p>
