For admission to BTech, students must meet the minimum eligibility set by the institute and must appear for one among Karnataka CET, COMEDK, JEE Main or any other national-level/state-level entrance exam.
- KCET qualified applicants are required to appear in KCET counselling conducted by KEA and COMEDK qualifiers must attend the COMEDK counselling
- During the counselling, applicants are required to fill the choice of college and course
- Seats are allotted based on the choices filled and score obtained in the entrance exam
- Students also have an option to take admission directly in the second year of BTech via lateral entry
