Candidates need to get a qualifying score in JEE Main. The candidates must next show up for the counselling sessions that JOSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) organises, which assigns seats to the candidates. Students should meet the JEE Main Cutoff for admission to the college.IIIT Kalyani's B.Tech. programme admits 130 students for only one of its discipline, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). Seats are filled up through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) after qualifying JEE (Main) examination administered by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
