Lovely Professional University has set up a separate loan assistance cell to enable the students, at the time of admission, to obtain loans from banks with which the university has tie-ups. Students can avail Education Loan Facility in the first year as well as in the subsequent years. The Students who want to apply for Educational Loan from any Bank need an offer letter from the University. The University will provide the requisite offer letter or alike document as required by the concerned bank for loan purposes, as and if deemed appropriate. LPU has MOUs with the following banks: Central Bank of India Punjab National Bank Oriental Bank of Commerce Karur Vysya Bank There are a number of banks and financial institutions that have given proposals or recommendations to extend loans to LPU students such as Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda, Andhra Bank, HDFC, IDBI, SBI Union Bank of India, Allahabad Bank, United Bank of India, and many more. However, the students, who are availing of this facility, and their parents are liable for any course of the D.Ed. The responsibility for getting a loan letter, the sanction of the loan, repayment of the loan, and any other liability lie solely with the students/parents. The university will not be liable and responsible in this regard. Dear Yash, It is very easy to apply for an education loan at LPU. LPU assists each student to get an education loan from a bank, There is a number of banks where you can apply for a loan. Few banks are- Central Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, State Bank of India ICICI, etc. Whichever you find feasible. For the purpose of availing loan, you have to get a loan letter from the university itself along with supporting documents including sanction of loan, ID proof, mark-sheet of previous academic qualifications, PAN, of both the student and the parents, etc. You can also take assistance from Student Loan Assistance Cell if you have any queries. One of my friend has completed his MBA on education loan. There are many students in LPU who studying by education loan. You can take loan from any bank, and bank asks you for few documents like pan card, identity proof, photographs, Residential proof, 10th and 12th Marksheet and Certificate. (other documents from your Guardian also). Few documents are also need which will given from LPU like original prospectus, Fee structure, proof of admission, etc. You should contact LPU members for a Loan letter, and they will give you a form. You must fill up the form with your and guardian signature. After fill up the form, they will provide you a loan letter. With the help of this loan letter and other documents you can easily apply for education loan in LPU. Bank will give your all fee to LPU via check or online money transfer to university account. Dear Yash, I have studied in LPU and one of my friend has taken loan for her education so I have idea that students can avail loan facility from the Banks. LPU believes that financial hindrance should not be a cause for a student to step back from his dreams and thus it provides all sort of assistance possible to its students. Students need to provide a loan letter to the university to apply for loans. Several Banks have tie-ups with the university. You will be guided at the university by the loan councilors regarding the tie-ups and procedures of loans ahead.
